Scott Maples earned his B.B.A. From Texas Tech University in 1993 and launched his financial services career in 1996. In 2008, Scott joined five other financial advisors of PFG Advisors, to build out their shared vision of a comprehensive financial planning firm unique to the Greater Lubbock and West Texas region.

Scott brings extensive experience to the partnership in the areas of comprehensive financial and estate planning, tax efficient strategies, investment solutions, risk management, retirement income planning, executive benefits and business continuation.

Having worked in a closely held family business for several years prior to becoming a financial advisor gave Scott unique insight into the challenges businesses face. Scott has a firm commitment and belief that a well designed  and objective financial plan is the first step to providing the clairity needed to then make important financial decisions over time. Assisting businesses and their owners with customized financial planning and solutions is one of Scott’s practice specialties.

Scott is also Certified in Long Term Care Planning (CLTC) and works closely with clients to design the appropriate strategies to protect their assets and lifestyle in the event that long term care is needed.  In addition, as one of a few SpecialCare Planners in West Texas, he is able to assist families with planning for the financial future of a disabled or special needs member through the development of a Life Care Plan.

When he’s not working, Scott enjoys competitive cycling, collecting timepieces, traveling and spending time with his wife and children.
